AI Agent

An AI agent is a highly specialized system or program that can autonomously perform tasks on behalf of the user or another system to achieve predetermined goals. These agents can automate processes, make decisions, and interact intelligently with users. They have a clear description of their goals and the framework within which they solve their specific tasks. To perform their functions, they are given access to resources in the form of context, memory capacity, and tools.

Agent orchestration is a technique that coordinates and manages the interaction between multiple agents to optimize their collaboration and efficiency. The agents are assembled into a task, which acts as an overall structure to coordinate and follow up on the work of the agents. This task ensures that all agents work towards a common goal, which increases the chances of success and efficiency. A supervisor can also be included in this process, which means that there is an entity responsible for monitoring and controlling the agents during the course of the task. The tasks become like an AI employee who performs their task independently and tirelessly. The tasks can be initiated by an event, for example, by an email that causes the AI employee to act.
